Body (English)
Musubu Espai Cultural in Barcelona presents The Mark of Fire — Kujiragama: First Firing, an exhibition of ceramic works from the first firing of Kujiragama.
Kujiragama is a wood-fired Anagama kiln built at Can Brull in the Montseny Natural Park, Spain, as a collaborative project by Taiga Mori, Frank Richter, Magali Kivatinetz, and other participating ceramic artists.
The exhibition features works created during the kiln’s inaugural 84-hour firing. Through the unique marks left by fire, ash, and time, the project brings together the ceramic heritage of Bizen, Japan, and contemporary ceramic practice in Europe.
